Alumni of the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme, SSEAYP Brunei Darussalam (BERSATU) celebrated its 40th Anniversary marking four decades of youth engagement with SSEAYP. The milestone was commemorated with a special gala event at a hotel in Kampung Anggerek Desa, 2nd January night.

Present was His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam. The event paid tribute to alumni, community members, host families and BERSATU's past achievements as well as a renewed commitment for the future in supporting youth development and a token of gratitude from the alumni to the community that has supported them for four decades.
